I understand your point that you dont feel that vaccines are to blame for your son’s Autisim. While I agree with you that there are genetic links; I think you are still missing a point. I believe that Autism is being over diagnosed because of a vaccine reaction that is so strong and so violently messes up the childs brain that it mirrors Autism–or at least enough of it to lead physicians to the diagnosis. Your child might have the bonafide genentically passed, autism. But please don’t discount thousands of parents who just want to understand why they witnessed EXTREME violent behavior changes directly after a shot was recieived (within about two weeks.) Read up on something called “imune system over-stimulation” (or similar wording)It may be that what we are seeing is NOT truely Autism, in the traditional sence, but an extreme reaction that can last for YEARS. What I have been going through may not be autism, but it is DEFINATELY shot related and it is DEFINATELY PURE HELL.

i didn’t realise people put mercury in vaccines but isn’t mercury in thermometers? and it’s those things you’re not meant to swallow? so the moment the government finds out about mercury being poisonous they’d stop putting them in things that go into the bloodstream right?

so you’re right, i don’t see how people can still think vaccines are giving people autism. i just got a vaccine yesterday for cervical cancer and i don’t feel autistic.

jalix, you would be surprised at how many people(including celebrities) do believe the MMR vaccine has caused their child’s autism. These people still believe the pharm. cos. and the gov’t. are leaving traces of mercury in the vaccine and the mercury is the link to the disorder. I don’t know too much more about the D.C. case, except that my sister said a doctor was interviewed on the “Today Show” and he said this woman does not have a case because mercury is NOT in the vaccines anymore.

that school sounded like a good idea.

i’m just wondering, who with logical sense would think that immunisation would cause autism? perhaps a wrong reaction to an immunisation can cause brain damage (in the most severe and radical of cases) but autism is a completely different thing.

i’d like to know the outcome of the D.C. trial too, if you ever find out.
